JUTRION JUQ1 Series CB-Class Automatic Transfer Switch

The JUQ1-63 Automatic Transfer Switch has a rated operating voltage of 220V or 380V and is suitable for 50/60Hz systems. Its rated current range is 16A–630A.

It can automatically switch between the main power supply and the backup power supply. This product is mainly used in high-rise buildings, shopping malls, fire pumps, elevators, household water pumps, and other applications. It complies with the IEC 60947-6-1 standard.

Key Features of JUQ1 CB-Class ATS

  1. The product integrates overload, short-circuit, phase-loss, undervoltage, and overvoltage protection. The circuit automatically trips when a fault occurs, without the need for an additional protective device.
  2. Wide current range from 16A to 630A, with strong load adaptability. It is suitable for common distribution circuits such as lighting, air conditioning, power systems, and general fire protection terminal circuits.
  3. Supports both manual and automatic operation modes, allowing on-site manual operation, inspection, and flexible maintenance.
  4. High breaking capacity, effectively isolating short-circuit faults

Summary:

The JUQ1-63 Automatic Transfer Switch plays an important role in modern power distribution systems. With a compact structure, complete functions, and cost-effective design, it can automatically switch to the backup power supply when the main power source fails, ensuring continuous operation of electrical equipment.

FAQs

Q: What is the main difference between CB-class and PC-class ATS?

A: A CB-class ATS comes with overload and short-circuit protection. It has a slower transfer speed, includes breaking contacts, and is not mainly used for isolation.

A PC-class ATS does not provide short-circuit protection by itself, but it offers faster transfer speed and has isolation capability. It provides higher safety and is often used for important loads.

Q: How is the impulse withstand and short-circuit capability of a CB-class ATS?

A: A CB-class ATS has strong short-circuit breaking capability. It can effectively disconnect short-circuit faults in the circuit, prevent fault expansion, and is suitable for common residential and industrial power distribution systems.

Q: Can a CB-class ATS close both power sources at the same time?

A: No. It is equipped with standard mechanical and electrical dual interlocking, which strictly prevents the two power sources from being connected in parallel and avoids short-circuit circulating current accidents.

Note:

A CB-class ATS adopts an assembled circuit breaker structure, without electrical isolation. It has a slower transfer speed and a power interruption gap during switching. It may trip due to overload or short-circuit faults, resulting in poor power supply continuity. Its mechanical stability is generally average, and its service life is relatively shorter. It is not suitable for fire protection systems or critical loads. Its short-circuit withstand capability is weaker, and the electrical control components are more prone to failure. Overall.
